Biomedia Publishing Company is a branch of Biomedia, an Italian administrative/facility service provider company for important Italian Scientific Societies. It is among the main Italian publishing houses in the medical-scientific field, providing updated solutions for Healthcare professionals. Biomedia is aimed to create training and information products for the world of Medicine, taking care of the contents, graphic design and advertising spaces. Biomedia Publishing Company is member of the Associazione Italiana degli Editori (AIE, Italian Publishers Association, https://www.aie.it/), FEP (Federation of European Publishers) and USPI (https://www.uspi.it/).

Authors are informed that the copyright of any accepted paper is automatically transferred to SIBioC; consequently, any reproduction, even of parts of the article itself, requires prior authorization from the copyright holder (in the person of the President of the Society).
Specific duties of the Publisher
Confidentiality: to assure that confidentiality is maintained throughout the entire editorial process, Biomedia Publishing Company is engaged in providing its employees clear guidance about the need of strict confidentiality of the correspondence between the Editor in Chief, the Authors, the Reviewers and the Editorial Secretariat, well beyond the publication of the article.
Third part rights: Figures, tables and text published elsewhere cannot be published in BC unless a formal permission is obtained by the Authors from the copyright holders. Biomedia verifies that the permission is obtained before the article publication.
Legal advice: as member of the Italian Publisher Association, Biomedia is prepared to offer legal advice and counselling whenever needed.
Advertising: the Biomedia policy for adverting collection is included in a specific procedure of the Biomedia Quality System (https://docs.biomedia.net/bc/2023/Quality_policy_rev10_07_03_22_EN.pdf).
Biomedia is committed to assure that BC (web site and Journal) advertising spaces are dedicated to IVD Companies (in vitro diagnostic Companies) operating in the field of Laboratory Medicine and to Meetings and/or E-learning courses organized by SIBioC or under the SIBioC auspices.
